Main purpose of the position:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Programme Leader to join our global social sustainability team and  spearhead our social progress initiatives. This role involves the programme management and delivery of the ISS signature moves, working closely with our global country leadership teams, customers, suppliers, and policy makers to achieve significant social impact.

 

What you’ll do:

Programme Management: Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of social progress initiatives, ensuring alignment with our strategic goals and objectives.

 

Implement Social Progress Initiatives: Collaborate with Country Leadership Teams, customers, suppliers, and policy makers to implement living wages and secure working hours for our placemakers, fostering a fair and equitable work environment.

 

Drive efforts to provide placemakers and their family members with ISS recognised qualifications, enhancing their skills and career prospects.

 

Monitoring and Evaluation: Develop and implement robust monitoring and evaluation frameworks to track progress, measure impact, and ensure continuous improvement of our programmes.

 

Reporting and Communication: Prepare and present regular reports on programme progress, challenges, and successes to the executive leadership teams and other stakeholders.

 

Stakeholder Engagement: Effectively manage and communicate with internal and external stakeholders from diverse cultural backgrounds, ensuring inclusive and respectful engagement

 

Team Management: Successful management of a small team consisting of one Project Admin Lead.

 

Who you’ll work with:

  • Reporting into the Global Head of Social Sustainability and Inclusion.
  • Key stakeholders are frontline placemakers to the Group Executive committee and includes Country Leadership Teams (CEO, CFO, COO), People & Culture and Account Directors.

 

Key qualifications: 

  • Experience in People & Culture or similar is an advantage
  • 3 years of experience in project management or an experienced programme leader
  • Comes with strong knowledge on social challenges and opportunities, including regulatory compliance across social legislation impacting large global corporate businesses
  • Experience in team management

 

Personal skills you excel: 

  • Strong customer focus, develops solutions to meet customer expectations
  • Financial acumen and data analysis skills to drive business decisions
  • Holds self and others accountable to achieve targets consistently and efficiently
  • Works collaboratively across a diverse stakeholder portfolio whilst fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
