Main purpose of the position:
The Senior IT Project Manager leads complex, high impact cloud transformation initiatives across ISS countries, driving the migration of critical infrastructure and technology services to cloud platforms. Operating in a highly matrixed global environment, this role balances competing business, operational, and technical priorities while ensuring successful delivery of strategic transformation programs.
The role requires exceptional stakeholder management capabilities, combining strong project leadership with the ability to influence senior executives, align cross functional teams, build business cases, and drive measurable business value throughout the transformation journey. Success is measured not only by delivering projects on time and within budget, but also by ensuring adoption, operational readiness, risk mitigation, and realization of expected business outcomes.
Key expectations:
You will be responsible for leading large scale cloud migration and infrastructure transformation programs across multiple countries, navigating complex stakeholder landscapes, competing priorities, and diverse regional requirements.
A key expectation is the ability to effectively engage senior business and technology leaders, facilitate difficult discussions, resolve conflicts, and drive decisions in situations where stakeholders have differing objectives and priorities.
You will act as the central point of coordination between country leadership teams, infrastructure and cloud engineering teams, architecture functions, vendors, and program sponsors, ensuring alignment around strategic objectives and delivery commitments.
Beyond project execution, you are expected to build and maintain strong business cases, guard compliance, and provide transparent reporting on financial, operational, and strategic outcomes throughout the program lifecycle.
Success in this role requires a combination of project leadership, commercial awareness, strong communication skills, strategic thinking, and a solid understanding of cloud and infrastructure transformation.
What you’ll do:
- Lead end to end delivery of large scale cloud migration and infrastructure transformation programs across multiple countries and business units.
- Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and leadership teams, influencing decisions and securing alignment on project priorities and outcomes.
- Facilitate complex discussions and negotiations between business, technology, operations, security, and architecture stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain business cases, ensuring clear linkage between project investments, expected benefits, and realized value.
- Track and report value realization, financial performance, risk exposure, and strategic outcomes throughout the program lifecycle.
- Drive project governance, ensuring effective decision making, transparency, accountability, and stakeholder engagement.
- Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, dependencies, and resources while balancing competing priorities and organizational constraints.
- Coordinate global, cross functional delivery teams, including infrastructure engineers, cloud specialists, architects, vendors, and country representatives.
- Proactively identify, manage, and resolve risks, escalations, organizational blockers, and stakeholder conflicts.
- Ensure migration activities meet security, compliance, operational readiness, and architectural requirements.
- Drive executive communications and reporting, presenting project status, risks, financials, business impacts, and decisions to senior leadership.
- Support organizational change and adoption activities to ensure successful transition and sustainable business outcomes.

Key qualifications:
- 10+ years of project or program management experience delivering complex technology transformation initiatives.
- Proven experience managing large scale cloud migration, infrastructure transformation, or enterprise modernization programs.
- Strong financial management skills (forecasting, capex/opex, vendor contracts).
- Expertise in project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, hybrid).
- Demonstrated success working with senior business and technology executives in complex, matrixed organizations.
- Experience building business cases, managing financials, and tracking value realization and benefits delivery.
- Strong understanding of cloud transformation programs and enterprise infrastructure environments.
- Expertise in project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid).
- Background in cloud migration programs or data center exit initiatives.
- Solid understanding of:
- Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
- Servers, storage, virtualization
- ITSM and operational readiness
Nice to have:
- PM certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum, or equivalent experience.
- Solid understanding of
- Enterprise networking and security
- Identity and access management - Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks.
- Technical certifications (e.g., Azure/AWS fundamentals or architecture).
