Network Architect

Main purpose of the position .

Our global network team is growing and we are currently looking for an experienced network architect.

What you’ll do:

• Identify network architecture patterns applicable to ISS and produce global network standards and blueprints
• Take ownership and maintain the above to provide constant improvement of network architecture
• Drive pilot designs and implementations based on the above
• Produce roadmaps for networking technologies
• Serve as last point of escalation for network related issues

Who you’ll work with

In your role as a network architect, you will be in close collaboration with:

• Global core network team
• Global Security Architecture and Global Information Security
• Global IT Architecture
• Global compute and storage solution designers

Key qualifications:

• Experience with architecture and designs of enterprise networks (especially data centre environments)
• Experience with architecture and designs of networking in public cloud (Azure/AWS)
• In-depth knowledge of networking designs and solutions including routing (OSPF/BGP), data centre (load balancers, firewalls, resiliency concepts), WAN (e.g. SD-WAN)
• In-depth knowledge of architecture and designs of next generation firewalls deployments (ideally Palo Alto) for both on-prem as well as public cloud
• Knowledge and/or experience with network automation tools (git, Ansible, Python) is considered a plus
• Network certification (such as CCIE or equivalent) is considered a benefit
