Main purpose of the position
Our Global Learning & Development team’s mission is to deliver high-quality, effective, and scalable development tools and solutions to over 350 000 of our colleagues around the world.
A person in the role of IT Tools Instructional Designer will have an opportunity to support that mission and develop the training solutions for one of our key Technical Services products as well as other ISS Service Products supported by FMS@ISS (Facility Management System). The IT Tools Instructional Designer will work in close collaboration with a broad spectrum of stakeholders, Subject Matter Experts (incl. Product owner), as well as the entire Global L&D team.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Translate training needs provided by the subject matter experts and product owners into training solutions proposals
- Plan, design and develop diverse forms of learning materials – classroom, e-learning, webinars, webcasts, etc.
- Foster a train-the-trainer concept (with the support of broader Global L&D team as appropriate)
- Manage publishing, roll-out, follow-up and reporting of the LMS curriculums
- Provide guidance and recommendations to ensure training materials are fit for purpose and audience
Professional Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of experience in Learning & Development with focus on instructional design and training tracks deployment
- Proven ability to design content for online modules and activities using various instructional design strategies to ensure learning goals and accessibility standards are met
- At least 1 year of experience in design of large-scale product-linked upskilling programs
- Experience in working with technical/technology-based training content (IT, applications, software, technical documentation) will be a strong advantage
- Fluency in building interactive e-learning using Articulate Storyline
- Advanced multimedia development in video, audio and graphics (Premiere Pro, Camtasia, Adobe Creative Cloud)
- Fluency in implementing translations and creating multilingual SCORM files
- Experience in working with LMS platforms (creating curriculums, reporting, etc.)
- Experience in creating SharePoint websites will be a plus
- English proficiency (B2+)
