Main purpose of the position
The Business Analyst in IT cooperates closely with the Business experts and subject matter experts. S/he works with all potential user groups of the software. S/he analyses and understands business needs and requirements. S/he analyses and defines functional and technical specifications and associates acceptance criteria to them. The Business Analyst drives the definition, assessment and documentation of business needs and business processes. The Solution Designer is responsible for the definition of the solution design and documents all requirements towards an application such as functions, behavior, and business logic as well as data and quality requirements. S/he gets support and consulting from Business, the development team, and the Solution Architect.
What you’ll do:
- Dedicated to the new Waste Management solution
- Responsible for detailed product definition in the form of a functional design
- Support the definition and recording of business needs and process
- Close cooperation and alignment with business experts, user groups and relevant stakeholders
- Follows Lean and Agile principles
- Pay attention to user experience, value creation and maintainability of the solution
- Measure and identify potential for continuous improvement and initiate and support optimization activities
Key qualifications:
- Study to university degree level or an equivalent education and training
- 3+ years of work experience in Requirements Engineering
