Main purpose of the position:
The role of Administrative Assistant in ISS Group Internal Audit Team (hereafter “GIA”) is to support to GIA in developing and maintaining analytical and operational audit tools. At this position you will be responsible for developing and maintaining audit tools, our internal database and its automation.
What you’ll do:
- Assisting GIA in maintenance and upgrade of MS Excel based Audit Work Programmes.
- Assisting GIA is administrative tasks such as:
- Management of audit issue database,
- Audit related financial analytics (Data cleansing and manipulation, review of large datasets and identifying anomalies or trends),
- Supporting the maintenance and Development od GIA Audit Management Tool,
- Supporting GIA in maintenance of GIA Sharepoint Site,
- Ad hoc support to Group Internal Auditors in pre-audit review of audit documentation,
- Supporting GIA in preparation of presentations to different Group level Stakeholders.
Who you’ll work with:
- GIA Team (5 located in Warsaw, 1 in Copenhagen),
- Speak Up Team (2 located in Warsaw / Gdańsk),
- Other Group Function Representatives – when needed.

Key qualifications:
- Language skills:
- English - on Advanced level,
- Polish – native / fluent (most of GIA Team located in Warsaw uses Polish on a daily basis),
- Job Experience: not needed, though appreciated in a form of administrative assistance and working with MS Excel and BI Tools,
- IT Skills:
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel (including Macros + VBA),
- Data Analytics Tools (optional but valuable) (Power BI and/or or Tableau),
- Scripting & Automation (optional but valuable) - Python (pandas, openpyxl, or NumPy), SQL, RPA (Power Automate)
- Education: connected to Finance and / or IT, in progress of studies.
Personal skills you excel:
- Focused on details,
- Easy going (talkative),
- Cultural (GIA is expected to show best practices and behaviors so this has to be a representative person as well),
- Self-lead – when there is a task that requires gaining new knowledge / skills, you acquire them and “get the job done” 😉
- Proactive – sharing ideas when improvement opportunity is spotted,
- Ability to learn quickly and not dissuaded by potential failures (you fall à you get up and move on),
- CONFIDENTIALITY – what will be seen / discussed within GIA Team cannot be passed outside.
