Over the past six years, we’ve delivered services across 28 countries and more than 50 major sites, including manufacturing facilities and corporate offices. A truly international team of 3,500 professionals provides a full suite of Integrated Facility Services, supporting both people and business performance.
The Global Technical Services Manager plays a pivotal role in leading technical service delivery for one of ISS’s largest Global Key Accounts. This role is responsible for fostering a unified “One Team” IFS culture, consistently demonstrating ISS values and behaviours both internally and in client interactions. Acting as a trusted advisor, the manager supports engineering tasks, projects, and troubleshooting across the portfolio. A key focus is the development and implementation of consistent, compliant engineering services and solutions that align with ISS Group Standards. The role also ensures that local engineering operations are effectively supported and that the account is staffed with engineers who possess the necessary technical expertise to meet client expectations and global standards.
What you’ll do:
The new Global Technical Services Manager will be the single point of contact for the Technical Services delivery and will be responsible for:
- Ensure high client satisfaction through consistent service delivery, process alignment, and reporting across regions
- Lead and support technical teams, including recruitment, performance, development, and wellbeing
- Oversee efficient operation of engineering services to meet contractual obligations
- Implement and manage engineering technology systems, ensuring data integrity and reporting
- Develop and enforce standard operating procedures, risk management, EHS, capital planning, and business continuity
- Drive best practice adoption from internal and external sources
- Standardize monthly reporting across geographies to meet ISS and client requirements
- Support and optimize use of FMS@ISS for asset data and work order management
- Review and share lessons from incidents and ensure close-out actions are implemented
- Coordinate technical activities to ensure consistent engineering service delivery
- Monitor and manage engineering risk, ensuring proper documentation and mitigation plans
- Build strong relationships with ISS teams globally to support knowledge sharing and team development
- Track and ensure delivery against engineering KPIs and continuous improvement initiatives
- Provide expert technical advice to support decision-making
- Collaborate with country and facility leaders to ensure integrated service delivery
Key qualifications:
- Chartered Engineer or Engineering Degree (Mechanical, Electrical, Building Systems); Fellowship of a recognised body (e.g. IET) preferred
- Strong leadership and managerial experience in Asset Management and Technical Services delivery
- Proven track record in similar roles with outcome-focused delivery
- Skilled in engineering contract management and commercial aspects
- Excellent technical knowledge of building engineering services across diverse environments (e.g. manufacturing, critical operations)
- Proficient in risk assessment and mitigation within engineering and FM operations
- Strong project management methodology and process development skills
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail and systematic approach
- Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills (verbal & written)
- Practical knowledge of best practice tools, techniques, and engineering risk management
- Willingness to travel internationally as required
