Main Purpose of the Position:
As the Employee Central Lead, you will lead and oversee the operational support, optimization, and continuous improvement of our SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central (EC) platform across global regions.
This role will be responsible for managing the EC module end-to-end, including global ticket resolution, system health checks, and process optimization. The ideal candidate will bring a strong functional understanding of EC Core and EC Time modules, combined with leadership experience in managing global teams and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Global Design, Implementation & Support:
- Provide expert-level support for the ongoing operation of EC systems, ensuring smooth system functionality and addressing any issues or optimization opportunities.
- Lead and coordinate the resolution of global EC support tickets in alignment with SLAs and business priorities.
- Collaborate with business and IT teams to execute project plans for EC implementations and system enhancements across multiple countries.
- Oversee the development and optimization of EC processes to meet global and regional needs.
Team Leadership & Development:
- Lead and mentor a team of EC specialists, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure the successful execution of both implementation projects and ongoing support tasks.
- Foster a collaborative environment, developing team capabilities to handle both complex global HR system challenges and provide effective post-implementation support.
Process Improvements & Best Practices:
- Identify opportunities to improve system efficiency, scalability, and user satisfaction within Employee Central, ensuring it meets both global and regional requirements.
- Ensure that EC processes and support practices align with best practices, continuously enhancing system performance and user experience.
Release & Testing Management:
- Evaluate the impact of new releases and features on Employee Central.
- Lead regression testing for new system features, ensuring that no disruptions occur in current processes and functionalities.
Documentation & Knowledge Management:
- Ensure comprehensive documentation is maintained for both global EC implementations and ongoing system enhancements and system configurations.
- Share knowledge across teams to foster a culture of continuous improvement and effective issue resolution.
Professional Qualifications:
Experience:
- 7+ years in SuccessFactors Employee Central, with experience in both global design/implementation and ongoing system support.
- Proven experience managing global EC projects, from initial implementation to ongoing system management and enhancements.
- Strong understanding of Hire-to-Retire and EC Time Management processes.
Certifications:
- SAP Certified Application Associate in SuccessFactors Employee Central and EC Time Off.
Technical Skills & Personal Qualification:
- In-depth knowledge of SuccessFactors Employee Central, EC Time.
- Familiarity with PMGM (Performance & Goals) is preferable but not mandatory.
- Experience with tools like Jira, Confluence, WebEx, Teams, and SharePoint.
- Strong leadership capabilities with a track record of managing and mentoring teams to achieve both implementation and support goals.
- Passionate about developing teams and fostering a collaborative, high-performance environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
