Main purpose of the position:
As the Data & Systems Analyst – HSE, the key purpose of the role is to act as the Group point of contact for data management, data governance and IT systems support. They will provide effective centralised data reporting with strong governance and identify ISS system requirements in collaboration with GITDS and Country HSEQ teams. The aim is to achieve sustained reduction in the rates of incidents and injury through the use of data to identify and manage HSE risks. They will ensure country teams have the reports and systems to ensure individual and collective safety and wellness. The role reports directly to the Group HSE Support Team Lead and will have accountability for the accuracy of the Group HSE reporting data..
What you’ll do:
- Development of consistent reporting processes and tools to gather global HSE data in order to inform the business of the effectiveness and compliance of HSE controls.
- Collaboration with the Group BI teams to develop consistent dashboards for HSE KPI’s and management information for Global, Regional, Functional and Client reporting.
- Visualisation of data and development of predictive HSE analytics.
- Management and updates for the Group HSE reporting manual.
- Data governance to ensure accuracy, security & continuity of data.
- Monitoring, analysis & of management data to identify opportunities for improvement, areas of success and predict where resources should be most effectively allocated.
- Working with IT system providers to establish integrations and data feeds
- Identification, implementation & maintenance of global, consistent, IT solutions and tools integrated with ISS operational IT systems to support compliance and the HSE management by the Country HSE teams
- Ownership and maintenance of ISS HSE IT solutions chosen to support day to day operations (including central accident reporting).
- Tracking and reporting the latest advances in technology to support the Global HSE programme.
- Provision of regular of monthly status updates.
- Development of communications to ensure that changes and improvements are shared.
- Support other specific HSE projects as agreed with the HSE Support Team Lead.

Key qualifications:
Qualifications and practical knowledge:
- Qualified data analytics professional; experience of managing HSE data preferred
- Minimum 5 years data analytics experience in managing data and producing performance reporting
- An in-depth knowledge of data reporting platforms (e.g. PowerBI, Tableau).and how to present data.
Success Criteria:
