We are currently looking for a Carbon management data analyst to join us in our Global Climate Impact Team. Would you like to help in achieving ISS environmental goals, net zero commitments and Science Based Targets obligations? You’ll help to administer our carbon data management tool and help our business to decarbonise our service by ensuring management information is complete, accurate and timely. With you onboard, we can drive ISS Groupwide buisiness progress towards target delivery and produce relevant, accurate performance management insights  for customers and external benchmarks globally.  

 

What you’ll do:

  • Be passionate about carbon data and environmental sustainability, and support our countries and Business Process Owner for carbon performance management and business process improvement
  • Carbon Performance Management:
    • Engage in carbon performance management to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement in carbon management, and continuously improve data reporting standards to stay at the forefront of stakeholder engagement
    • Ensure quality assurance process are followed for internal and external carbon and environmental impact reports
  • Business Process Improvement:
    • Continually challenge carbon data and seek opportunities for improvements
    • Engage with countries on carbon data improvement plan and actively share latest internal requirements and and external framework reporting requirements regarding carbon accouting and share best practices among countries
    • Facilitate communication on carbon data automation and bridge gaps beteen Global Operations, Group IT team, Country Sustainability team and Country IT team as part of business process improvement plan
  • Carbon Data Preparation:
    • Support Business Process Owner to manage the full lifecycle of carbon data collection and management and ensure that the process of quality checks are conducted in the Enterprise Carbon Accounting platform
    • Work with Group IT teams to troubleshot data issues (quality, consistency, completeness) in the full lifecycle of data transmission to ensure there is no data loss and ensure that data governance processes are followed
    • Act as a contact point for countries when receveing questions and requests
  • Ad-hoc:
    • Coordinate and work with other teams to identify business process improvement synergies and opportunities
    • Occasionally support other function such as Health and Safety or Risk with data and disclosure projects

 

Key qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in environmental science, sustainability, statistics, data science, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Solid understanding of and demonstrated experience with data analysis
  • Experience in Greenhouse gas / Carbon accounting / Climate Transitions is an advantage
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, advanced Excel skills, such as building dashboards
  • Experience with BI /analytics tools e.g. Power BI/Tableau tool knowledge is desirable
  • Advanced business proficiency in English
