Main purpose of the position

The GMS HSE Lead will be responsible for delivering effectiveness of the ISS Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) management systems, controls, and practices within Global Managed Services setup. That employee will work with respective specialist in self-delivery countries and same time will be ISS HSE SME for our Partners across the globe. This role supports operational excellence by identifying risks, monitoring compliance, and driving continuous improvement in line with company standards and legal requirements.

 

What you’ll do:

  • Develop and implement HSE program in GMS organization
  • Act as subject matter expert in the field of HSE for self-delivery countries and Partners 
  • Conduct regular audits, site visits and audits across multiple Country business units to verify compliance with internal ISS HSE procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Support commercial opportunities in the area of health, safety and environment
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and contractors to promote best practices and shared learning.
  • Support internal and external HSE audits and regulatory inspections.
  • Prepare assurance reports and presentations for senior leadership.
  • Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of HSE systems, policies, and processes.

Key qualifications:

  • Business experience in the field if Heath and safety area, preferred with multicountry responsibilities
  • A Graduate in a health, safety & environmental related degree (or similar level recognised qualification)
  • A good understanding of HSE Management systems
  • Fluent English both speaking and writing

  • Ability to build strong relationships quickly and collaborate with different levels of stakeholders
