Cleaning Excellence Manager

 

 

Key Purpose

 

The Cleaning Excellence Manager is responsible for overseeing all cleaning workstreams and assisting account and site management in developing and implementing optimization opportunities across the United States, Canada, and Latin America.

 

Additionally, the Cleaning Excellence Manager will collaborate with onsite teams regarding best practices and ensuring that ISS initiatives are communicated and carried out at the account level. This role reports to the Head of Cleaning Products and Performance for the Americas.

Key Areas of Collaboration and Influence

 

  • Support the Americas Operation Excellence team and report to the HSEQ Director with reporting relationship to supported company administrator
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues within the Business Unit and across the company so that information is disseminated effectively and participate in project groups and meetings as required

 

 

Ideal Candidate Experience

  • 7+ years of related experience in cleaning or janitorial role with 3+ years as a site supervisor or manager
  • Understanding of GMP cleaning requirements
  • GMP cleaning experience strongly preferred
  • Proficient in MS Office applications
  • Associate degree, technical degree, or equivalent experience

 

Key Accountabilities

 

  • Develop relationship with site stake holders to gather understanding of desired outcome
  • Observe current performance of custodial work routes and staff when time permits
  • Review data from observations and data gathering
  • Develop new route changes to enhance production and reduce operation drag
  • Ability to optimize large janitorial contracts for production gains and increased profitability
  • Review costing components in supply usage that could reduce cost and implement with agreement of site stake holder
  • Comprehensive knowledge and experience in industrial, education, aviation, and office cleaning services.
  • Oversight and management of the equipment and supplies inventories and procurement for all replacement requirements
  • Development and distribution of work plan assignments for new accounts and training in this area for current site management personnel.
  • Maintains data base, prepares reports and supervises personnel as needed
  • All People & Culture requirements to include assistance in recruiting, hiring and training when appropriate
  • Assists with writing and revising SOPs, input on marketing material as needed, and work routes, account improvement plans, etc.
  • Consummate communication skills, verbal and written
  • Comfort levels working with senior customer management

 

Physical Demands & Work Environment

 

  • Sitting at a computer for extended periods of time
  • Travel requirements: 50+%
  • Must be able to work under pressure and time deadlines during peak periods
