Student Assistant, Europe

ISS World Services A/S is looking for a talented and committed Student Assistant for the Europe Leadership team. In this role, you will work closely with the senior leaders operationally responsible for 15 countries across the ISS Europe organisation.

Job Description

As a Student Assistant in the Europe Leadership team, you will have a broad organisational interface interacting with country leadership teams and senior functional leaders across the ISS Group HQ. This is a unique opportunity to build a strong network among senior leaders in a C25 listed and truly global company, learning about executive business routines and ensuring a smooth and coordinated agenda across the Europe leadership team.

In this role, you will support the Europe management team with day-to-day business routines, including planning and execution of monthly meeting governance, calendar management, travel plans, meeting agendas, etc. In addition, you will take on unique Ad hoc assignments and projects close to Europe CEO’s and Europe Senior Management’s agenda.



Key Responsibilities

  • Planning and updating country and group business review plans
  • Planning and updating functional review plans
  • Planning and updating regular CEO Europe stakeholder engagements
  • Planning and executing planning of OneISS transformation meeting governance in collaboration with the OneISS office
  • Preparing meeting materials, ensuring coordination across functions and relevant follow-up is initiated
  • Ongoing reporting on Europe operational priorities
  • Ongoing reporting on People & Culture initiatives (recruitment status; cross country/group talent sharing; status on compliance KPIs etc.)



Personal & Professional Qualifications

  • Discreet and tactful; able to handle confidential information and materials and to engage with senior stakeholders
  • Detail oriented and acting with sense of urgency; takes responsibility and takes pride in delivering high quality work
  • Positive and inventive; will be an active part of the Europe senior management team, and share any ideas for new ways of working
  • Structured and analytical; able to maintain an overview and to prioritise across a varied palette of work tasks
  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree or a master’s degree (preferable first year) in a relevant field of study
