Project Manager, Commercial Development

Job Description

Lead the change - as a project manager in our commercial development you will establish a new approach to how we work with developing and commercializing new products and services to the benefit of our customers and end-users. We have taken greater steps to centralize the product development process to modularize our customer solutions and you will be you will be spearheading many of the initiatives required for us to excel in this area. You will interact with our service line experts, procurement & supply chain, operations performance and marketing and branding departments to lead, govern, and improve our efforts to build commercial and innovation strategies and product roadmaps. In addition, you will lead and be involved in strategic commercial transformational projects to ensure that ISS is continuously adapting in a dynamic commercial environment


Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Help establish our commercial and innovation strategies within each of our service lines
  • Be key contact for managing and governing early commercial screening of our ideation and innovation funnel
  • Help build proper market segmentation and value propositions within each of our service lines
  • Help track market and competitor development within our service lines
  • Drive own workstreams and analyses and act as key commercial counterpart of senior stakeholders
  • Plan and execute challenging projects in a global context
  • Communicate recommendations to senior stakeholders
  • Act as a trusted advisor to the global commercial community to drive our commercial transformation forward.


Personal & Professional Qualifications

  • Master’s degree (e.g. in economics, business administration, finance, engineering etc.) with excellent results
  • Previous experience (2-3 years) from a top-tier management consulting firm
  • Ability to lead work streams and projects including project planning, issue driven problem solving, senior management communication, etc.
  • Keen interest in service innovation and end-user innovation
  • Analytical and structured.
  • Outgoing team player and an excellent communicator.
  • Positive attitude, strong engagement skills and ability to collaborate with and manage stakeholders at all levels in the organisation as well as with customers and partners
  • Ability to maintain professionalism always under stressful situations
  • Strong organisational skills and collaborative style needed
  • Be fluent in MS excel and MS PowerPoint.
