Main purpose of the position:

As P&C Generalist you will play a key role in the delivery of effective and efficient services to our leaders and employees in ISS Group Functions.

 

You will join the department People & Culture, Group Functions which is a part of our Global P&C organization. We support approximately 900 Group employees in global functions such as Finance, People & Tech, Commercial & Revenue and Global Operations. In each of the functions we have colleagues in a variety of positions at both executive and senior level as well as operational roles.

 

We have 2 main HQ locations in Copenhagen, Warsaw, a financial shared service center in Gdansk, and a tech hub in Porto as well as a wider Group community in other countries.

This role is based in Copenhagen and reports to our People & Culture Operations Manager based in Warsaw.

 

Your primary focus will be to execute tasks within the people journey alongside a team of P&C Generalists who work closely with P&C Business Partners and business leaders.

We will rely on you to perform the operational activities related to hiring, onboarding, offboarding processes e.g., sending employment contracts and information to new hires, manage change requests regarding employment conditions for individual employees, update systems in case of changes to the organizational structure and reporting lines, keep cores processes like exit interview going and make sure the data flows to relevant recipients.

 

What you will do:

Your area of responsibility is:

  • Act as subject matter expert in labor law and social security regulations
  • Provide advice in individual case handling related to absence and leave including usage of our time management system
  • Deliver timely and high- quality transactional tasks related to hiring, onboarding, offboarding e.g., sending employment contracts and information to new hires, change requests regarding employment conditions for individual employees, update systems in case of changes to the organizational structure and reporting lines, provide links and collect data from exit interview process.
  • Be 1st line support for our customers (candidates, employees, and managers) to answer questions or requests related to policies, benefits, processes, or systems.
  • Manage payroll input arrives up to date and timely for the monthly payroll of Group employees in Denmark
  • Manage the HQ Apple Award program. This is a key recognition initiative across ISS and we want to be sure we continuously acknowledge our colleagues through this program
  • Administer the pension, benefit and insurance scheme for Group employees based in Denmark in collaboration with Global Reward
  • Administer employer obligations related to social security in collaboration with Global Mobility
  • Collaborate with ISS Denmark on registration and management of Company Day
  • Manage anniversaries and special occasions with leaders and the facility service team
  • Update mail groups and provide data reports on request

 

The person we are looking for:

We are looking for a colleague with proven experience in managing the many transactional elements of the people experience. Life will be easier for candidates with high level of excel and systems expertise, good level of verbal and written communication skills (English is the corporate language) and the ability to manage several short deadlines daily.

The People & Culture Operations team must be attentive to detail, productive and well organized. As you will manage daily tasks while being part of further transformation of our digital platform and improvement of our service delivery model, it will be a huge benefit if you also possess a good sense of humor and a passion for delivering service and support to others.

 

Professional skills you possess:

  • Experience working in an international business
  • Proven experience using SuccessFactors or similar HRIT solution
  • Knowledge of labor law regulations
  • Planning and alignment
  • Problem solving
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
  • Microsoft Office super user
