Main purpose of the position/Key expectations:

You will work closely with stakeholders across the ISS enterprise and lead a team of highly skilled category managers to develop and execute the procurement strategies that support ISS’ strategic objectives and give ISS a competitive edge within the IT and Indirect spend areas.

 

What you’ll do: 

  • Driving internal analyses and market analyses to determine the appropriate long term strategy for the categories within the IT and Indirect spend areas
  • Managing the pipeline of sourcing activities to support delivery of ISS financial targets
  • Preparing for and executing tenders and negotiations with suppliers
  • Drafting of contracts in close cooperation with our legal experts to ensure that we reduce risks and costs while increasing the value of our contracts
  • Owning the relationship of Group IT and Indirect suppliers including ongoing supplier performance dialogues
  • Leading and developing a team of dedicated and talented category managers

 

Who you’ll work with:

  • You will work cross functionally across the enterprise with stakeholders in countries and HQ, including Group Supply Chain & Procurement and other functions such as Group Legal, Group IT, Group People and Group Finance
  • You will working with stakeholders at all levels ranging from the operational level to Executive Group Management

 

Key qualifications: 

  • Master’s degree, e.g. in Law, Business, Economics, Operations, Supply Chain Management or Political/Social Science
  • 5-10 years of experience of working with procurement and/or supply management, preferably from a large multinational corporation or as a management consultant
  • Broad experience in defining cross functional category strategies, and a proven track record of executing RfQ processes and negotiations
  • Experience in Project Management and Change Management is an asset
  • Fluency in English (both written and spoken)
  • Proven record of leadership in a work setting and/or through extracurricular activities

  • Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively, both verbally and in writing, to stakeholders at all levels
  • Solid business acumen, enabling you to develop an effective sourcing strategy and influence suppliers and key stakeholders in the organization
  • Demonstrated result orientation and drive
