Our Programme
Our Global Management Trainee Programme is a graduate programme offering rotations and the opportunity for an international placement, designed to provide an exceptional start to your career.
Starting in September 2025, this 18-month management programme will equip you with excellent people management and customer partnering skills, and it is the springboard to a career within the world's largest facility management company. This programme will position you for a future management role and prepare you to utilise your qualified understanding and skills within operations, leadership and commercial excellence. Our long-term expectation is that you will move into a senior management position and become a leader of the future at ISS.
Throughout the 18-month programme, you will engage in 3–4 month rotations across various service lines within hard- and soft services. These rotations are designed to build your competencies within key account management, including leadership, commercial, and financial skills. You will gain hands-on experience by working closely with all organisational levels, including our frontline staff, supervisors, site managers, and key account managers. Additionally, a three-month international placement will provide you with a global perspective on our operations and culture – our current Global Management Trainees have been in Singapore and Switzerland. This comprehensive approach ensures you develop a deep understanding of ISS services and are well-prepared for future leadership roles.
"Being part of this programme has been an incredible adventure, both professionally and personally. My time in Singapore opened my eyes to how cutting-edge technology and innovation can revolutionize healthcare. Plus, I discovered the power of cross-cultural collaboration and idea exchange in turning challenges into groundbreaking solutions – experiences that will undoubtedly shape my future career," says Albert Krohn Sørensen (Global Management Trainee).
People are at the core of our business, and unity, honesty, entrepreneurship, responsibility, and quality are the core values we live by at ISS. We believe that everyone has a voice and should contribute both to our success and our learning, as we evolve and grow. As an ambassador for ISS, you acknowledge the importance of having a respectful attitude towards the people around you.

What could a future at ISS look like after finalizing this programme?
The short answer is that you will have countless possibilities, both in Denmark and abroad. There is not a set path, so it depends on your interests and ambitions. The direct route would be in our operations, becoming a Site Manager or Key Account Manager, but others have chosen to go into other departments like Commercial, Finance or Operations Performance.
