Main purpose of the position:
The Group Talent attraction and Acquisition director cocreate and implement the vision and strategy for global talent attraction and acquisition. Design and develop methodology, process, guidelines, policies, templates, training and tools alongside group center of excellence e.g. Learning & Development and Reward and Recognition. Will lead to effectively source, engage, attract and widen the candidate pool in order to hire the best employees for ISS’ business. Will together with our group People & Culture transformation team spearhead the implementation of digital recruitment for improved time to recruit.
What you’ll do:
Talent Acquisition Strategy:
- Develop, lead, and execute a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy to meet current and future hiring needs.
- Establish effective attraction and sourcing strategies, recruitment processes, and best practices to ensure efficiency, quality of hire, and diversity.
- Leverage data and metrics to measure the success of hiring efforts, continually refining strategies for optimal performance.
- Champion DEI efforts within the attraction and hiring process, ensuring that our practices promote a diverse and inclusive workplace.
Talent Attraction & Employer Branding:
- Build and enhance the company’s employer brand.
- Partner with marketing and communications teams to create compelling employer branding content, campaigns, and social media presence which easily can be adapted to and implemented in our local markets.
- Design programs and events to build relationships with potential candidates and engage the broader candidate community through activating our EVP.
Data-Driven Decision Making:
- Utilize analytics and reporting tools to measure recruiting performance, hiring metrics, and talent pipeline health and ensure education.
Who you’ll work with:
You will become a part of our Group Talent & Learning team where we focus on the people journey spanning from attraction to talent management and development through learning and training. You will have a wide network and collaboration with our global People & Culture community, Marketing and communication.
Success criteria:
- Successful Implementation time of technology and partnership with countries: Ensuring a greater pull for implementation due to system fit for purpose
- Time-to-Fill and Time-to-Hire: Reduction in time-to-fill and time-to-hire metrics and an improved retention rate in the first 6 months of hiring,
- Employer Brand Awareness: Increased brand recognition and favourability among target segments, as measured by survey feedback, social media engagement, and employer review platforms
Key qualifications:
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in talent acquisition, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Proven track record of developing and executing talent attraction and acquisition strategies with a focus on frontline employees and high volume recruitment.
- Deep knowledge of modern recruitment tools, technologies, and best practices.
- Strong understanding of DEI principles and experience with bringing these to life through hiring processes.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Experience in a fast-paced, environment is a must and, in an environment, where a buy-in must be gained through successful small pilots to create a ripple effect.
