Main purpose for the position

To fulfil our marketing ambition to enable business growth, we are looking for a new Segment Marketing Manager to join our Global Marketing Team. As a Segment Marketing Manager, you will be a Segment Marketing Expert, covering 1-2 of our prioritized industry segments: Financial & Professional Services, Technology, Industry & Manufacturing and Life sciences.

 

You will be responsible for creating and executing segment and account-specific marketing strategies and plans, in close collaboration with multiple business stakeholders. Using research and analytics, you will become a marketing expert within your segments by developing an in-depth knowledge about the market and industry, through understanding prospect, client needs and dynamics, the competitive landscape, and technology. 

 

Your key responsibilities will cover, but not limited to:

Marketing Strategy and plans:

  • Develop and drive the execution of the segment marketing strategies and plans for Global Key Accounts and prospective customers for 1-2 of our prioritised segments
  • Monitor and track progress on strategies and plans, report on performance and ensure corrective action through proactive planning and ongoing development

Intelligence and analytics:

  • Gather intelligence on prospective and existing clients, helping to identify and secure growth opportunities
  • Develop segment-wide strategic marketing plans and adapt these to account-specific needs through gathering competitor insights and identifying competitive advantages
  • Identify segment trends, provide actionable recommendations, and include these in segment marketing planning
  • Share segment insight and intelligence with relevant stakeholders to deliver on customer needs and realise growth opportunities throughout the customer lifecycle

Marketing and Sales support:

  • Support high priority bid processes by developing global marketing initiatives    
  • Provide marketing support for significant commercial activities, such as planning events and meetings, creating presentations and other sales-enabling activities
  • Support development and maintenance of CRM system, to improve use of customer data and/or insights?
  • Define, coordinate, and drive brand building marketing activities supporting the segment and account-based marketing plans

 

Professional Qualifications:

  • A minimum of five years of experience working in a global organization, preferably within industries such as Financial & Professional Services, Life Sciences, Industry & Manufacturing and/or the Technology industry
  • A Strong Marketeer with experience of account-based strategic marketing planning and execution preferred
  • Strong/Established/Demonstrable Project Management skills
  • Excellent analytical skills and highly developed business acumen
  • High proficiency in MS Office, especially PowerPoint
  • Excellent English communication and writing skills
  • Degree in business, marketing or communications preferred
