Job Description

Does impacting the world of work sound appealing? As Head of Workplace programs, you will be responsible for helping to build a stronger positioning and proposition for ISS during a massive transformation around the workplace of the future. The workplace – including how and where we work – is undergoing major changes as a consequence of the COVID-19 pandemic and we are looking for an experience workplace leader to drive our commercial activities around workplace services. The role is a critical role within our global commercial organization and the right individual will act as a trusted advisor to current and future customers on commercial matters related to their workplace, workplace services and the workplace experience.

 

You will act as the workplace lead in larger commercial opportunities to define workplace solutions for prospects and existing customers and lead our thought leadership and positioning efforts. In addition, you will work very close with colleagues from our Operations Performance and Marketing & Branding to establish our commercial workplace strategy, innovation strategy and product roadmap.

 

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Establish and own the commercial elements of our workplace strategy and innovation / product roadmap
  • Lead ISS workplace re-positioning efforts in light of the COVID-19 pandemic
  • Help build a stronger eco-system around the workplace allowing us to crowd surf ideas for new innovative workplace services
  • Own the commercial part of our product roadmap and development funnel to ensure that a proper commercial screening is established to ensure standardization of workplace solutions and services and prioritization of workplace development resources
  • Build proper market segmentation and activating of our value proposition of our workplace offerings
  • Help build evidence for the strategic, tactical and operational benefits of workplace services, including data, content and case stories
  • Track market and competitor development within workplace services and offerings
  • Support workplace commercial opportunities in large country, region or Group bids
  • Help drive commercial capability building with our sales force in countries
  • Act as a trusted advisor to the local and global sales teams and senior management by providing sales coaching and insights
  • Engage and drive commercial input to the Group and Commercial IT agenda
  • Close collaboration with the Global Operations and Marketing & Branding team to help establish a stronger positioning of ISS’ workplace offerings.

 

Personal & Professional Qualifications

  • Strong sales and commercial excellence track record especially around sales enablement
  • Hold a master’s degree or similar within business or economics, or have gained similar expertise through work experience
  • A background within commercial real estate, workplace services or a management consultancy focusing on workplace services
  • Has held positions within sales, account management and/or sales operations in a global B2B environment
  • Has been a trusted advisor to commercial leaders
  • Be comfortable discussing the workplace of the future and how ISS can position ourselves best
  • Be comfortable managing multiple global stakeholder relations
  • Be analytical and structured
  • Be comfortable in front of real estate, facility management and HR leaders
  • Be an outgoing team player and an excellent communicator
  • Be proactive and able to get things done in a timely manner
  • Ability to maintain professionalism always under stressful situations
  • Strong organisational skills and collaborative style needed.
