ISS World Services A/S is looking for a Global Head of Cleaning & Hygiene Programmes to build a stronger commercial cleaning positioning and help our customers rebuild their workplaces and keep people safe and secure following COVID-19 through new cleaning and hygiene solutioning

Job Description

As Global Head of Cleaning & Hygiene Programmes, you will be responsible for helping to build a stronger positioning and proposition for the world’s largest service company. Cleaning and hygiene services are undergoing major changes as a consequence of the COVID-19 pandemic and we are looking for a new colleague to help lead our commercial activities to leverage new commercial opportunities within the cleaning and hygiene space.

 

You will work very close with colleagues from our Operations Performance, Supply Chain & Procurement and Marketing & Branding to establish our commercial cleaning strategy, our innovation strategy and product roadmap and lead our thought leadership and positioning efforts. In addition, you will act as the cleaning lead in larger commercial opportunities, be it single service cleaning or as part of integrated facility services opportunities.

 

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Establish our commercial cleaning strategy and innovation / product roadmap
  • Lead cleaning and hygiene re-positioning efforts in light of COVID-19
  • Help build a stronger cleaning and hygiene eco-system allowing us to tap into ideas and innovation
  • Own the commercial part of our product roadmap and development funnel to ensure that a proper commercial screening is established to ensure standardization of cleaning and hygiene solutions and prioritization of cleaning and hygiene development resources
  • Build proper market segmentation and value propositions of our different cleaning and hygiene offerings
  • Help build content, case studies and evidence for the strategic, tactical and operational benefits of cleaning and hygiene services
  • Track market and competitor development within cleaning and hygiene markets
  • Support cleaning and hygiene commercial opportunities in large country, region or Group bids
  • Help drive commercial capability building with our cleaning sales force in countries
  • Act as a trusted advisor to the local and global sales teams and senior management by providing sales coaching and insights
  • Engage and drive commercial input to the Group and Commercial IT agenda
  • Close collaboration with the Global Operations, Supply Chain & Procurement and Marketing & Branding team to help establish a stronger positioning of ISS’ cleaning offerings

 

 

Personal & Professional Qualifications

  • Strong sales and commercial excellence experience especially around sales enablement
  • Hold a master’s degree or similar within business or economics, or have gained similar expertise through work experience
  • A background within commercial real estate, facility management or commercial cleaning and hygiene. Alternatively, a background from a consultancy with a focus on cleaning and hygiene advisory
  • Has held positions within sales, account management and/or sales operations in a global B2B environment
  • Has been a trusted advisor to commercial leaders
  • Be comfortable discussing the strategic benefit of clean workplaces
  • Be comfortable managing multiple global stakeholder relations
  • Be analytical and structured.
  • Be comfortable in front of real estate and facility management leaders
  • Be an outgoing team player and an excellent communicator.
  • Be proactive and able to get things done in a timely manner.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism always under stressful situations
  • Strong organisational skills and collaborative style needed
