Role purpose
This is a mid to senior level role (7-10 years’ experience) based in Copenhagen within the Group Communications team with responsibility to deliver on the communication strategy, plan and activities for the Group Corporate Functions and respective leaders in support of the OneISS business strategy. It is important that the Communications Manager is comfortable interacting with employees of all levels and positions, including senior management. As a multi-national company, the role requires sensitivity to other perspectives and cultures.


This role is an individual contributor (no direct reports) and reports to the Director of Internal Communications and Business Partnering. Close working relationships with the wider Group Communications Team is essential to provide a consistent and joined up approach to all communications activities.



  • Partner with Corporate function leadership teams and enable the strategic transformation journey they are on, by driving the implementation of programmes and processes that help leaders engage teams and build two-way dialogue.
  • Develop and implement internal communications plans for projects / leadership teams that catalyse change and deliver on the strategic priorities of the function, working closely with the relevant stakeholders
  • Manage communications and engagement projects across functions as required e.g., commercial, global operations, compliance, OneISS strategy and internal quarterly results communications, but not limited to only these.
  • Manage leadership communications for various corporate function leadership teams
  • Develop compelling communications content in pursuit of the strategy, including (but not limited to); slide decks, news articles, presentations, key messages, FAQ, online content, and internal engagement planning for key internal channels such as SharePoint Online, Yammer, webinars and town halls, intranet, video, events etc
  • Leverages multiple internal and external channels, as relevant to maximise reach and engage stakeholders.
  • Publishing, distributing, and uploading content to channels as per communications plans
  • Support with any Site Communications


Communications Functional Excellence:

  • Manages a global communicators network with countries with a regular cadence of meetings – responsible for the agenda management and logistical organisation of the monthly Teams meetings
  • Develops functional KPIs using a communications dashboard to monitor and report these KPIs
  • Maintenance of internal & external communication guidelines, governance, and quality assurance processes
  • Lead the reporting and tracking of metrics on impact and traction of communications content / campaigns



Knowledge, experience & capabilities:

  • 7-10 years of experience in the field of communications 
  • Degree in Communications or related discipline with fluent written and spoken English
  • Must have strong PowerPoint and Sharepoint online skills, as well as other digital tools within the Office 365 suite
  • You are an experienced communication advisor to senior leaders, adept at navigating and executing in a complex stakeholder environment ability to engage, influence and build relationships at all levels of the organisation
  • Experienced in corporate communication focused project management and worked in complex, global, cross-functional projects
  • You are ambitious on behalf of the communication agenda and proactively influence decisions to enable efficient and engaging communication.
  • Experience with international companies and working across a variety of geographic markets
  • Knowledge of communication best practices, models, and tech tools
  • Highly creative with meticulous attention to detail
  • Structured and strong on following process, plans and governance
  • Experience of writing for different channels, content creation and editing
  • Partnering, coaching, and influencing skills
