Commercial Excellence Director

ISS World Services A/S is looking for a Commercial Excellence Director to enable a global sales transformation and build a world-class global commercial organisation.

Job Description:

We are in the process towards a more proactive, data-enabled key account focused sales approach and set-up, and you will be spearheading many of the initiatives required for us to get there. You will lead a team of dedicated project managers to support countries and accounts in crafting commercial strategies, support countries around commercial planning efforts, deploy tools, processes and platforms to drive an efficient sales execution. Your key responsibilities will include:


  • Lead pipeline development and management initiatives
  • Define and launch a bespoke ISS commercial excellence framework and program to improve commercial performance and drive industry-leading organic growth
  • Own core commercial processes (commercial strategy process, commercial planning process and budget process)
  • Help elevate the commercial data and business analytics and insights to improve sales performance and commercial effectiveness
  • Define and deploy tools, systems and processes required to build effective sales teams in countries and globally
  • Facilitate and support global learning & development and coaching programs to drive right the competencies and behaviors for our sales organizations to be successful
  • Act as a trusted advisor to the local and global sales teams and Senior management by providing sales coaching and insights


Personal & Professional Qualifications

  • Strong sales and commercial excellence experience especially around sales enablement and sales transformation
  • Hold a master’s degree or similar within business or economics, or have gained similar expertise through work experience
  • Has held positions within sales, account management and/or sales operations in a global B2B environment
  • Has been a trusted advisor to commercial leaders
  • Have experience with CRM systems (preferably MS Dynamics) and be able to identify sales enablement opportunities from within the CRM platform
  • Be analytical and structured.
  • Be an outgoing team player and an excellent communicator.
  • Be proactive and able to get things done in a timely manner.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism always under stressful situations
  • Strong organisational skills and collaborative style needed
  • Be proficient in MS excel and MS PowerPoint
