We are seeking dynamic individuals and team players to join our Commercial and Marketing IT team in Porto. As a Technical Product Owner Marketing and Commercial IT, your main area of work will be our current CMS solution - Sitecore XM Cloud. From a more holistic perspective, you will also be working secondarily with elated applications such as Bynder, Qualtrics, HubSpot and Dynamics365 to make sure they all work together as intended.

The role you are boarding can be described to be “technical project management” that will include both configuring, maintaining, improving, and supporting both back- and front end of our CMS. The role is new and you will be able to influence how it will be set-up.

You will of course manage the full lifecycle of the CMS under your watch. From initial development through to release and provisioning. Additionally, you will receive support and consulting from the business and, other development teams. You will have our dedicated Solution Architect alongside with you to ensure successful implementation and integration of new features.

Your natural curiosity about understanding business needs and requirements and be able to turn that into tech will be the key to succeed in this role. You will also use that quality to grow your own technical expertise in our CMS and other related applications that comes your way.

Your Day-to-Day Journey at ISS Tech Portugal:

• Gather and translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications.
• Develop and implement new functionalities from these requirements, alongside with testing and verification together with business.
• Run 1-3rd line support.
• Maintain and improve existing applications to enhance performance and user experience either by yourself or with 3rd party vendor/-s
• Manage the release and provisioning.
• Collaborate closely with Business and Subject Matter Experts to ensure alignment with user needs.
• Ensure all new features meet defined acceptance criteria and quality standards.
• Ensure comprehensive documentation for all developed functionalities.
• Ensure high standards of quality assurance across all development stages.
• Collaborate with and mentor new team members, fostering a collaborative and learning environment.
• Participate in Digital Transformation initiatives by introducing best practices and standards for future team members.

What makes you a great fit:

• Experienced Data Scientist with a relevant academic background (economics, math, computer science or data science) and experience from a similar role for Sitecore or equivalent CMS.
• Interpersonal ability to maintain effective communication with multiple people from different departments.
• Strong self-starter and proactive in identifying needs and opportunities for innovation and business value creation from data.
• Openminded & adaptable with a proactive approach to work good problem solving.
• Project Management.
• Passion for code AND people.
• Good knowledge of Agile, Scrum, software delivery cycle.
• Must have documented knowledge within: ASP.NET Web Forms and/or ASP.NET MVC, C# and/or VB.NET, Visual Studio.
• Nice to have knowledge within: Azure, Azure Could, AzureDevOps, Dynamics365, SharePoint, Jira, Confluence, BrowserStack, Web Progressive App Design, CI/CD.
