Are you passionate about making a difference? We’re looking for a Sustainability BI Analyst to join our Global Business Intelligence & Competency Center (BICC) Team in Porto. In this role, you’ll serve as a vital link between our BI capabilities and business objectives, driving tangible value across the organization.
As a key player in fostering a strong data culture, you’ll collaborate with teams in various countries and global key accounts to propel ISS's progress toward our sustainability targets. Your contributions will be essential in delivering accurate reports for corporate reporting, customers, and global benchmarks, ultimately shaping the future of ISS through data.

Your Day-to-Day Journey at ISS Tech Portugal:
- BI Expertise: Possesses comprehensive knowledge of reporting and BI frameworks, including data modeling when applicable. Responsible for translating business requirements into technical solutions and functional specifications. Plans, designs, develops, and delivers small-scale BI solutions within an established framework, collaborating closely with source system owners, business subject matter experts, and BI lead developers. In larger BI projects take responsibility for data analysis, functional requirement specification, data quality validation.
- Insight Expertise: Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify and understand the key drivers of sustainability.
- Integrator: Collaborates with the business to gather and translate new requirements into detailed functional specifications for application development. Engages in business process mapping and re-engineering in relation to BI needs, involving subject matter experts in data capture processes. Fosters a strong network to ensure a solid foundation of data and knowledge.
- Enabler: Empowers teams to effectively utilize BI products while promoting knowledge sharing across segments to ensure scalability. Implements initiatives to enhance data literacy and prepare the organization for AI integration.
- Project and Stakeholder Management: Responsible for prioritizing, planning, and delivering business solutions, including managing and mitigating risks associated with change.
- Stakeholder Management: Cultivates strong relationships with relevant stakeholders, coordinating and prioritizing solution delivery. Effectively articulates solutions and breaks down problems by considering the perspectives of different stakeholders.
What makes you a great fit:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Analytics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- Minimum 3-5 years of proven experience in Business Intelligence reporting and data analysis, specifically with Power BI.
- Data Analysis: Proficiency in analyzing large datasets to extract meaningful insights and ability to perform analysis to interpret data trends and patterns.
- Database Management: Knowledge of database technologies such as SQL for querying and managing data.
- Experience with BI tools like Tableau and Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
- Dashboard Creation: Skills in creating interactive dashboards to present data insights effectively.
- Experience in preparing reports, presentations, and visualizations that effectively communicate findings.
- Experience in cross-functional roles, collaborating effectively with diverse teams.
- A passion for environmental sustainability is a plus!
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, listening and presentation skills.
- Ability to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Good organization skills including project management to prioritize tasks and tight deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of working with Microsoft Fabric.
- Programming: Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or R for data manipulation and analysis.
- Data Warehousing: Understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
- Data Modeling : Competence in data modeling to structure data for analysis.
- Global Experience: Experience in global multinational companies.
