The FMS Product Owner leads one of the FMS software development teams. The FMS Product Owner is responsible for maximizing the value of the software product resulting from the work of the software team. The Product Owner is accountable for effective Product Backlog management.
The role will be instrumental building up the first internal FMS Scrum Team, where effective onboarding is assured.
The FMS Product Owner strives towards a collaborative approach across the FMS Product delivery and ensures that technical blockers for implementing DevOps are removed or mitigated.

Your Day-to-Day Journey at ISS Tech Portugal:
- Responsible for identifying user needs and defining the product’s functions together with the cross-functional team.
- Oversee the delivery process from start to finish, i.e. from product idea to decommission or hand over to operations .
- Lead the team following the Lean and Agile principles of Agility@ISS.
- Develop and communicate the product and project goals.
- Create and manage the roadmap or project plan for the software development.
- Ensure that the Product Backlog or Project Plan is transparent, visible and understood.
- Prioritize Product Backlog items in close collaboration with the Business Product Owner.
What makes you a great fit:
- Study to university degree level or an equivalent education and training.
- 5 years work experience as a Product Owner.
- Exerience managing development team activities with Azure DevOps and/or Jira.
