The Job Role as IT Senior Application Specialist:
The IT Senior Application Specialist is responsible for the operational management of the global SaaS platform, ensuring it runs reliably, securely, and in compliance with both local and global standards. The role oversees integrations with internal systems, manages user access and configuration, and supports the platform’s alignment with the central governance framework. This includes ensuring data quality, managing change control, and coordinating support across a tiered global model. The manager plays a key role in maintaining platform performance, enabling standardized processes, and supporting cross-functional governance.
The Application Manager is expected to ensure the SaaS platform operates within the central governance framework, with clear controls around data access, usage, and retention. They will manage platform compliance, user and license administration, and coordinate releases and configuration changes. The role includes standardising incident and service request handling, overseeing data integrations, and ensuring robust identity and access management. The manager will also support data stewardship, monitor data quality, and maintain performance against SLAs, while contributing to cross-functional governance to align platform usage with business needs.

What you’ll do:
- Own and administer the global SaaS platform, ensuring secure, reliable, and compliant operations.
- Act as the subject matter expert for the platform, understanding the system configuration, functionality, data model, and end-to-end Business processes.
- Manage platform configuration and optimisation to meet evolving business and regulatory requirements.
- Serve as custodian of the technology ecosystem, including integrations, data pipelines, and supporting applications.
- Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and governance of Business data and reporting.
- Coordinate releases, upgrades, testing, and change management activities with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
- Monitor platform performance, incidents, and service levels, providing Level 2 support and issue resolution.
- Manage vendor relationships and ensure delivery of contracted services and roadmap commitments.
Drive continuous improvement, user adoption, automation, and process standardisation across the Business landscape. - Provide expert guidance to business stakeholders by translating Business operational requirements into system capabilities and solutions.
Who you’ll work with:
- Global sustainability, Business Operations Partner and compliance teams.
- Internal IT teams (integration, infrastructure, cybersecurity, support).
- SaaS vendor and external support partners.
- Data governance, enterprise architecture, and cross-functional governance board.
Key qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience managing SaaS platforms in a global enterprise setting.
- Experience with identity and access management, audit logging, and data integration.
- Proven ability to manage change control, configuration, and release cycles.
- Strong coordination and communication across diverse teams and regions.
- Structured and detail-oriented approach to operational delivery.
- Proactive problem-solving and continuous improvement mindset.
- Ability to manage complexity and maintain clarity under pressure.
