Your Role and Responsibilities:
The data acquisition engineer is responsible for integration to source systems in both cloud and on-prem. Responsible for knowledge sharing and knowledge transfer to countries and source system owners.

The data engineer is responsible for ensuring the integration between source systems (cloud and on-premise) to our global data solution for analytical and business intelligence use cases. Further, he will also be responsible for knowledge sharing and knowledge transfer to countries and source system owners.

Key tasks:

• Design and build framework data acquisition from source systems;
• Build pipelines for consuming data from source systems to landing zones; 
• Enforce data quality requirements to source system owners;
• Document and write "data contracts" with source system owners;
• Train countries and source system owners in working with the data acquisition framework
• Build a support and maintenance process
• Build up proper monitoring for observability

Your Skills and Experiences:

• Experience working with cloud platforms such as Azure, Google, and AWS;

• Desired experience in Databricks;

• Hands-on experience in monitoring/observability tools

• Technical expertise in data models, data mining, and segmentation techniques.

• Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Java and Python);

• Hands-on experience with SQL database design;

• Excellent numerical and analytical skills;

• Be familiar with agile methodology;

• Good communication and facilitation skills;

• English skills, both written and spoken.
