Location: Naucalpan, State of Mexico (Office-based role, with hybrid flexibility subject to approval)
Language: Native Spanish and English (C1 preferred)
Scope: Americas region, covering Mexico, Chile, the United States, and Canada, with initial focus on Mexico and Chile.
Main purpose of the position
ISS Group is looking for a driven supply chain risk and compliance professional with an operations mindset. You will be a fundamental part of a global transformation initiative, focusing on supplier due diligence and onboarding. In this role, you will execute the evaluation process according to established business rules, with the opportunity to progressively take full ownership of prequalification compliance and structural improvements for the Americas region as you grow within the team.
What you’ll do:
- Execute the supplier due-diligence process within defined timelines, validating provided information against ISS criteria.
- Maintain direct contact with suppliers to troubleshoot bottlenecks and ensure successful onboarding.
- Analyze the supply chain risk profile and develop deep expertise in responsible sourcing requirements to support the wider team.
- Collaborate with the Group Center of Excellence to define validation rules for supplier attestations and test system solutions.
- Support and gradually lead country progress meetings to ensure high level of prequalification compliance is achieved.
Who you’ll work with:
- Work directly with suppliers to seamlessly onboard them into the due-diligence solution.
- Collaborate with country Procurement organizations and account operations to improve the supplier onboarding process.
- Engage with Subject Matter Experts to address non-compliance and work with system managers to test tools.
Key qualifications:
- 5-6 years of experience in supply chain operations, procurement, auditing, or risk control.
- Comes with solid knowledge within supplier management, vendor evaluation, or standard due-diligence processes.
- Bachelor's degree (Engineering, Business, Accounting, Economics or related field preferred).
- Upper Intermediate-to-advanced Excel abilities for data management.
- Knowledge of risk solutions and procurement tools (e.g., Coupa RPMA, SIM, P2P) is considered an advantage.
