Main purpose of the position:
Cloud Operations Engineer will manage and optimize an organization's cloud infrastructure, ensuring it is secure, scalable, reliable, and cost-effective. Will contribute to continuous improvements by automating operations, monitoring performance and handling incident response. Will support Company’s transformation by facilitating seamless cloud transitions for applications and services often using tools for Infrastructure as a Code managing deployment.
What you’ll do:
- Assist cloud migration initiatives towards Azure IaaS or PaaS.
- Handle cloud infrastructure related incidents and service requests.
- Monitor cloud infrastructure for the best performance and efficiency.
- Participate in cloud Projects, to contribute to their activities from its design phase, ending with operational readiness checks.
- Be part of hosted applications Lifecycle management process.
Who you’ll work with:
- Truly international team of highly experienced individuals in various areas and technologies, majoring in Azure cloud.
Key qualifications:
- Strong skills in Azure cloud platform, 5+ years hands-on admin or deployment experience. AZ-104 certification as a plus.
- Solid knowledge and understanding of IaC framework (Terraform or Bicep).
- Understanding of core networking concepts like DNS, NSG, vNets.
- Some experience with scripting in PowerShell or Bash.
- Containerization / AKS knowledge will be a strong advantage.
- Experience in administration of Windows/Linux is a plus
