Our collaboration with the Social Value Portal (SVP) aims to enhance ISS’s ability to measure, manage, and maximize the social value created by our initiatives, empowering us to make a meaningful impact on the communities we serve. This project will be instrumental in building critical organizational capability in understanding and quantifying the wider economic, social, and environmental outcomes of our efforts.

Main purpose of the position

The primary purpose of this position is to lead the implementation of a new platform in collaboration with the Social Value Portal (SVP) to measure, manage, and maximize the social value of ISS’s initiatives at a global level. This includes coordinating with the external provider to set up the platform, overseeing pilot projects, and driving a phased global roll-out to ensure its successful integration into ISS’s social sustainability framework.

 

What you’ll do:

  • Project Planning and Coordination: Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders. Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation, ensuring smooth execution and alignment with goals.
  • Platform Implementation and Pilot Management: Oversee the setup, customization, and testing of the Social Value Portal (SVP) platform. Manage pilot projects in selected countries to gather insights, refine the platform, and prepare for global roll-out.
  • Stakeholder and Vendor Engagement: Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including country teams, business leaders, and the SVP delivery team. Ensure seamless collaboration and communication across all parties involved.
  • Risk and Budget Management: Identify and mitigate risks to project delivery, while maintaining a clear focus on budget tracking and resource allocation. Proactively address potential challenges to ensure the project stays on track.
  • Training and Enablement: Develop and deliver training programs and resources to equip ISS teams with the necessary skills to maximize the platform’s potential and embed it into operational practices.
  • Reporting and Communication: Provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders, highlighting progress, key milestones, and actionable insights. Prepare clear reports to measure success and guide decision-making.

Key qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, sustainability, or a related field.
  • 5–8 years of project management experience, preferably in global organizations, with a focus on sustainability, social value, or platform implementation.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, including planning, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects with cross-functional teams and external vendors, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels and present technical solutions in a clear, user-friendly manner.
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of developing business cases and analyzing scenarios to support decision-making.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and experience with modeling and scenario planning in a project context.
  • Familiarity with social sustainability frameworks, such as the National TOMs, is a strong advantage.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is preferred.
