Main purpose of the position: 

To our Global Finance Service Centre based in Gdańsk, we are looking for experienced Reporting Senior Subject Matter Expert who will be responsible for the co-creation and development of a reporting function which will underpin the operations of the FSC and ISS UK Business.  

What will you do:

• Design, development, piloting of metrics, reporting, visualization tools to support FSC activity
• Data analytics: putting the data at the heart of all problem analysis and solution design
• Articulating solutions to audiences of varying seniority with a clear focus on value-add: delivering audience-appropriate messaging and content
• Delivery of the solutions by gathering consensus around their ideas for action and building proposals supported by FSC colleagues and business stakeholders
• Creating innovative solutions in an environment of varied scenarios and competing demands, whilst balancing the needs of stakeholders
• Supporting statutory reporting and management reporting required of the FSC operation – for example, the existing UK Fair Payment Code reporting and monthly Customer Service packs
• Leveraging the reporting to PowerBI and other automation tools
• Adhering to UK and group accounting policies and procedures
• Assisting, where required, on projects relating to analysis, reporting, and process improvement

Who will you work with:

• Reporting Associate who will support Reporting Senior SME, Business stakeholders, FSC Management, Project Managers, and other FSC teams

Professional skills you possess:

• Ideally: University Degree in Finance or Qualified Accounting Qualification: ACCA, ACA, CIMA
• Minimum 4 years of experience in Finance Area SSC/PTP/RTR/OTC
• Extensive experience in a reporting role
• Very good knowledge of processes within Payables, Receivables and General Ledger
• Experience/knowledge of Navision/OneStream is preferable
• Customer focused and target driven
• Advanced MS Excel
• Knowledge of Power BI and Power Query – is preferable

Personal skills in which you excel

• Very good analytical, communication and presentation skills
• Forward thinking, with a “can do” attitude
• More important than financial qualification is a clear ability to demonstrate how to deliver commercial value, insight and waste elimination through the identification, design and development of metrics and reporting in analyzing a dataset

• Strong proficiency in both written and spoken English
