Main purpose of the position:

As a PTP Senior Subject Matter Expert you will become a part of our newly established ISS Finance Service Center office located in Gdańsk. They will support & co-ordinate the team of accounting professionals responsible for processing expenses and invoices via various sub-systems (Concur SAP, Coupa, DCS, Maximo, Saffron) and handling internal queries via Jira ticketing system.

 

The Senior SME will be responsible for ensuring that the daily priorities for the team are aligned with the agreed SLA, so that the employee expenses and supplier invoices are processed in timely manner and in accordance with the ISS Policies. They will perform the quality check on the work performed by the team and coordinate actions for any corrections and trainings needed. They will supervise the resolution of employee queries pertaining to T&E and internal queries related to invoice processing handled by the team, also supporting difficult cases and escalations in cooperation with the Team Lead. Much of the interactions day to day will involve liaison with ISS employees and the ISS Procurement teams.    

 

What you will do:

  • Coordinate the workload distribution for the team ensuring the priorities are aligned with the agreed SLA
  • Perform quality checks on the expenses and invoices processed by the team
  • Handle escalations in cooperation with the Team Lead
  • Work with Team Lead and other teams to deliver continuous improvement and support initiatives to maintain the integrity of the systems 
  • Assess the training needs within the team and maintain backup structure and knowledge base for the processes handled
  • Investigate and resolve invoice related issues and queries
  • Support internal and external audit requests
  • Participate as required as a team member in other special projects 
  • Carry out any other ad-hoc duties, as and when required 

 

Who you will work with:

  • Transactional Processing team of 13 professionals.
  • Close collaboration with PTP Account Management and Cash & Payments teams within Gdańsk FSC.
  • Close cooperation with UK market colleagues and stakeholders.

 

Professional skills you possess:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in Finance area;
  • Good understanding of PTP / Accounts Payable area;
  • Excellent English communication skills (min. B2 level);
  • Experience of working with Coupa/Saffron/Maximo/Navision would be advantageous but not essential;
  • Experience in coordination of the team/project would be advantageous.
