Main purpose of the position:
You will play an important role in supporting the daily operations of the Accounts Payable function. You will be responsible for processing invoices, assisting with vendor and payment management, and ensuring that all financial transactions are completed accurately and on time. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in finance and accounting while developing your skills within a collaborative, international environment. Day-to-day interactions will involve close collaboration with business stakeholders, ISS employees and external vendors to ensure smooth operations and adherence to ISS policies. This is a great opportunity to grow within a global organization and contribute to the success of our Finance Service Center.
What will you do:
- Process supplier invoices accurately and efficiently, following company procedures and approval workflows.
- Match invoices with purchase orders and receipts, and help resolve any basic discrepancies.
- Maintain and update vendor information in the system (e.g. Coupa, Navision).
- Assist in preparing and reviewing standard AP reports such as vendor open items and aging reports.
- Support month-end closing tasks including accruals, reversals, and vendor reconciliations.
- Process employee reimbursements and assist with corporate credit card transactions.
- Communicate with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve invoice and payment-related queries.
- Ensure all documentation is accurate, properly filed, and audit-ready.
- Collaborate with Finance and Procurement teams to ensure smooth invoice-to-pay operations.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives and system updates to enhance efficiency.

Professional skills you possess:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, or currently in the final year of studies.
- 0–2 years of experience in the Finance area.
- Basic understanding of PTP / Accounts Payable processes.
- Knowledge of Polish accounting principles and local tax regulations is a plus, but not required.
- Familiarity with Coupa, Navision, or SAP is advantageous, but not mandatory.
- Strong Excel skills.
- Willingness to learn and support team coordination or projects.
- Very good command of English, both written and spoken, for effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
