Main purpose of the position
As a PTP Junior Associate in Transactional Processing team the candidate will become a part of our newly established ISS Finance Service Center office located in Gdańsk. They will support the team of accounting professionals responsible for processing expenses and invoices via various sub-systems (Concur SAP, Coupa, DCS, Maximo, Saffron) and handling internal queries via Jira ticketing system. The PTP Associate will be responsible for ensuring that employee expenses and supplier invoices are processed in timely manner in accordance with the ISS Policies and within agreed SLA’s. They will be responsible for the resolution of employee queries pertaining to T&E and internal queries related to invoice processing.
Many of the day-to-day interactions will involve liaison with ISS employees and the ISS procurement teams.
What you will do:
- Auditing of T&E claims (receipt and policy compliance checks) in accordance with ISS standards, ensuring all audit, approvals and rejections are completed within a timely manner to facilitate timely reimbursement of expenses incurred.
- Daily processing of 3rd party supplier/Internal Supplier/sub-contractor invoices/credit notes in accordance with HMRC and ISS Policy.
- Rejection of non-compliant invoices from subsystem.
- Ensuring review, processing or rejections are completed within a timely manner to facilitate prompt payments.
- Respond to the employee and business PTP queries daily using the ISS query portal (Jira).
- Work with team lead to deliver continuous improvement and support initiatives to maintain the integrity of the systems.
- Support internal and external audit requests (downloading required documentation).
- Participate as required as a team member in other special projects.
- Carry out any other ad-hoc duties, as and when required.
Who you will work with:
- Transactional Processing team of 13 professionals.
- Close collaboration with PTP Account Management and Cash & Payments teams within Gdańsk FSC.
- Close cooperation with UK market colleagues.
Professional skills you possess:
- Good understanding of PTP / Accounts Payable area
- Studies in accounting and similar filed
- Excellent English communication skills (min. B2 level)
- Experience of working with Coupa/Saffron/Maximo/Navision would be advantageous but not essential.
