Main purpose of the position:
Become part of our new ISS Finance Service Center office in Gdańsk. As a PTP Intern you will play a key role in supporting the Procure-to-Pay (PTP) process for ISS by ensuring accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices. You will work with automation tools, validate invoice data, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance and efficiency in invoice handling.
As ISS Finance Service Center, we provide Finance & Accounting services to European countries. Core services include cover Accounting (RTR), Customer billing, banking & reporting (OTC) and Accounts Payables activities (PTP). ISS FSC is on an exciting journey to expand the range of services provided along with a wider range of PTP activities.
What will you do:
- Assist in processing supplier invoices following company procedures.
- Help match invoices with purchase orders and receipts, and support resolving simple discrepancies.
- Maintain and update vendor information in systems like Coupa, Navision
- Support preparation of basic AP reports, such as vendor open items and aging reports.
- Assist with month-end tasks, including accruals, reversals, and vendor reconciliations.
- Help process employee reimbursements and corporate credit card transactions
- Communicate with vendors and internal teams to resolve invoice and payment queries.
- Ensure documentation is accurate and properly organized.
- Work with Finance and Procurement teams to support smooth invoice-to-pay operations.
- Participate in learning process improvement initiatives and system updates.
- Basic knowledge of Polish accounting principles and local tax rules would be a plus
Who will you work with:
- PTP teams, suppliers, internal stakeholders, Managers and system support teams
Professional skills you possess:
- Interest or education in Finance area
- Interest in learning about Finance, especially PTP / Accounts Payable.
- Basic knowledge of Polish accounting and local tax rules is a plus.
- Familiarity with Coupa, Navision, or SAP is a plus.
- Good Excel skills.
- Willingness to support team projects and learn from colleagues.
- Good command of English, both written and spoken would be a plus
