Main purpose of the position:
The purpose of this position is to ensure the accurate and timely processing of PO-based supplier invoices across assigned Operating Units, while supporting compliance with internal procedures and payment terms. The role contributes to reconciliation activities, issue resolution, and continuous process improvement initiatives, ensuring operational efficiency and adherence to KPIs.
What will you do:
- Process and validate PO-based supplier invoices for assigned Operating Units
- Monitor invoice workflows and resolve issues preventing timely booking
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to purchase orders, receipts, or invoice details
- Liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders to obtain required clarifications or supporting documentation
- Maintain accurate system records and ensure proper documentation for audit purposes
- Follow up on pending items to ensure timely resolution and payment processing
- Respond to supplier inquiries related to invoice status and procedures
- Support supplier reconciliation activities and assist in resolving outstanding differences
- Provide timely responses to supplier audit requests
- Manage and maintain digital documentation in accordance with internal standards
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and established KPIs
- Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure smooth collaboration and process alignment
- Provide day-to-day guidance and operational support to more junior team members
- Contribute to process improvements within the PTP function
Who will you work with:
Business stakeholders, PTP Managers, Leaders, Project Managers, Associates
Key experience & qualifications:
• Very good knowledge of both Spanish and English (min. B2 level) in speech and writing, allowing for easy communication with external and internal stakeholders
• Bachelor’s degree or student of economics, finance, accounting, or related field (preferred)
• 2+ year of experience in Accounting (Shared Service Centre environment is desirable)
• Experience in PO invoice processing and reconciliation activities
• Solid knowledge within MS Office (Excel, Word, Internet tools)
• Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a structured and deadline-driven environment
• Intermediate Catalan is a plus but not mandatory
