Junior Reporting Specialist
To our Global Finance Service Centre based in Gdańsk, we are looking for a Junior Reporting Specialist who will play a key role in the development and enhancement of the reporting function that supports the operations of the Controlling Team and the broader business. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the automation and optimization of financial reporting processes, enabling data-driven decision-making and operational efficiency across the organization.

What you’ll do:
As a Junior Reporting Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting the Controlling Team by automating reporting processes, analyzing financial data, and collaborating with stakeholders to drive operational efficiency. Your responsibilities will include:
- Automating Excel-based reporting processes using advanced formulas, Power Query, VBA, and macros.
- Supporting data extraction, transformation, and implementation of financial and operational reports.
- Assisting in the analysis and resolution of data and technical issues related to existing reports and data models.
- Participating in the month-end closing process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
- Collaborating with Financial Controllers and operations teams to gather inputs and clarify reporting requirements.
- Maintaining and updating reporting templates, procedures, and documentation to ensure consistency and compliance.
- Contributing to the preparation of financial presentations, dashboards, and summaries for internal and external stakeholders.
- Supporting the use of Power BI and other automation tools to enhance reporting capabilities.

Professional skills you possess:
- University degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience in a reporting, controlling, or data analytics role is a strong advantage.
- Familiarity with financial processes such as budgeting, variance analysis, and month-end closing.
- Knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., Navision, OneStream) is a plus.
- Understanding of automation tools and reporting platforms (e.g., Power BI) is desirable.
Skills:
- Strong Excel skills, including Power Query, VBA, and advanced formulas.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- Eagerness to learn and contribute in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
