Main purpose for the position

The primary focus area as IT Service Desk Supporter is to provide support and assistance to our colleagues in HQ and partnership countries. Our main purpose is to be the liaison point between end-users, IT, and key stakeholders and provide quality services with focus on consistent and efficient support.

 

Your key responsibilities will be

  • Provide 1st and 2nd line IT support for devices, applications, and IT infrastructure.
  • Assist with meeting room setup, troubleshooting, and technical support.
  • Drive continuous improvement of IT support processes, tools, and documentation.
  • Receive, triage, and resolve incoming Service Desk phone calls professionally.
  • Log, analyze, and troubleshoot incidents and service requests in the ITSM platform.
  • Identify recurring issues, propose long-term solutions, and escalate when needed.
  • Apply analytical thinking to diagnose complex IT problems and improve resolution time.

 

Professional Qualifications

  • You should as a minimum have completed a relevant IT education
  • Preferably 1-2 years of experience within IT support function from a Worldwide enterprise, but not a must
  • Broad knowledge of Microsoft Office products
  • Support of Apple and Android devices
  • Experience with Active Directory
  • Knowledge about enterprise solutions like SCCM and the likes

  • Exceptional communications and customer service skills
  • You can quickly create a high-level overview of the task at hand, at the same time while still focusing on the details.
  • You are autonomous and take initiatives independently to improve the ways you work, but at the same time appreciate a social and team environment
