Main Purpose of the position:
To our Global Finance Service Centre based in Gdańsk, we are looking for an experienced Finance Operations Section Manager (OTC) who will play a key role in the migration, implementation, and stabilization of new and existing Order-to-Cash processes and systems.
Once stabilized, the role will be responsible for end-to-end OTC operations, leading a growing structure of teams and driving performance, standardization, and continuous improvement across entities.
What you’ll do:
- Lead OTC operations across multiple entities within a growing structure (currently ~30 FTE across 4 teams, with further expansion planned)
- Manage and develop Team Leaders and their teams, ensuring strong performance, engagement, and clear accountability
Oversee end-to-end Order-to-Cash processes, including Collections & Credit Management, Cash Application, Billing & Invoicing, Dispute Management
- Ensure delivery against SLAs, KPIs, and internal control requirements
- Own and improve key OTC metrics such as DSO, overdue, dispute cycle time, and cash allocation accuracy
- Drive cash flow optimization and working capital improvement across OTC processes
- Partner closely with business stakeholders to resolve operational issues and improve customer experience
- Drive standardization and harmonization of OTC processes across entities
- Lead and support transitions of new OTC scope into the FSC
- Identify and implement automation and process improvements within OTC processes
- Ensure audit readiness and compliance within OTC processes
- Manage team capacity, workload distribution, and cost efficiency within the OTC scope

Professional skills you possess:
- University degree in Finance or Accounting; ACCA / CIMA / ACA (part-qualified) is a strong advantage
- 5+ years of experience in Order-to-Cash (OTC), including Collections, Billing, or Cash Application
- Proven experience managing teams of 20+ FTE, including direct management of Team Leaders
- Experience in managing Team Leaders / Managers is a strong advantage
- Strong stakeholder management experience (senior level, international environment)
- Solid understanding of OTC KPIs (DSO, overdue, disputes, cash allocation)
- Experience in transitions, migrations, or SSC/BPO environments preferred
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Highly organized, proactive, and results-driven
- Advanced Excel skills: Power BI is a plus
- Experience with ERP systems and process automation initiatives
