CONTEXT:

As the Receptionist you are the face of the site, you will be creating positive and memorable interactions for colleagues, clients and campus guests. You will be responsible for delivering the unexpected; making each encounter fun, exciting and personal. You will be open, passionate, friendly, customer focused and someone who consistently delivers a high-caliber customer service. You will be an ambassador for the brand principles, culture and values and someone who embraces outstanding service. Keeping this at the heart of everything you do.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES

  • Helping to deliver the unexpected to our colleagues. Through customer service, events, surprise and delights. 
  • You’re a natural host and can make guests and colleagues feel at home on our site.
  • Welcomes visitors in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries.
  • Main point of contact for all LEGO colleagues on site; answer questions, help with requests like any 5-star concierge (from Meeting room enquiries, technology, food services, events, wellness schedule etc.)
  • Have a good knowledge of the Visitor Management System to book in guest as required.
  • You learn quickly and can adapt to the LEGO unique culture by working positively and collaboratively.
  • Develop relationships and capture guests & colleague’s individual preferences for future visits and think creatively of ways to accommodate any special requests.
  • You have a keen eye for detail and love to share your notes and feedback helping maintain the work space by notifying the appropriate Departments when service is needed, i.e. carpet cleaning, missing light bulbs, maintenance of Ladies Room, etc.
  • Work on community initiatives designed to develop connections between colleagues, including neighborhood introductions, event support and print communications.
  • Utilize the on-site technology to its best to arm you with all the information on room bookings, reserving amenity spaces and anticipating the needs of guests, supporting a smooth arrival, departure and experience throughout the day.
  • Conduct periodic review and revision of building documents, developing and amending as required.
  • Enforce a level of uncompromising cleanliness. Ensure cleaning and beverage hubs responsibilities are executed daily to the highest standard.
  • Proactively promotes and directs colleagues to take part in site Events.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Maintains security by following procedures defined
  • Main point of contact for receiving guests and visitors; contacting collegues to announce visitors
  • Be familiar with all policies and guidelines as it pertains to the Floor/Reception Area.
  • Handle any administrative tasks/requests for the floor as needed.
  • Taking ownership and responsibility for your area, Lobby or floor during your shift,

 

       REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma or equivalent education required.
  • Two years related experience in front of house, hospitality related field preferred
  • Computer literate – confident in all Microsoft office suite,Communications and Collaberation tools. Previous experience in Property Management tools preferred but not essential
  • Great telephone skills and verbal communication
  • Must be customer focused, organized, and professional
  • Ability to work in a team environment

WORK ENVIROMENT

Work is perfomed in an office setting. Long periods of time on your feet, interchangeable with high and low demand times throughout the day.
